“Intel inside” is one of the popular two word sentences in the world. Intel provides great computing hardware’s and currently “Core- iX series” products are very famous among the users. Simple-minded people buy an Intel core – i7, or i5 for gaming and multimedia needs.
Still Intel has challengers like AMD to race. Now Mobile industry is one of the target arenas to the Chip giant. Already chip makers like Qualcomm, Mediatek are leading in the mobile industry. “Intel inside” logo present in the mobile phones since last year (Example: Lava Xolo, Motorola) to start its battle in the mobile industry.
Now it’s time to send the logo into the cloud provider websites. Amazon already started to publish “Intel inside” logo in its services from September 2013.
Even cloud providers are already planning to create their own Processor architecture (Even ARM based architecture). So, it’s again time to do the right thing.The c3-type instances from Amazon EC2 are Intel sandy bridge instances that sold out soon after the launch.
Other participants who now publish”Intel inside” logo include Virtustream, Rackspace and CenturyLink-Savvis from United States. Canopy from U.K, Cloud4com from Czech Republic; CloudWatt and OVH from France, Korea Telecom or KT and a few others. Together all those players are expected to account for more than $3.5 billion in cloud service revenue this year, according to the company.
